I work with anyone 16+. My clients usually come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns they can’t break. They’re often struggling with stress, low motivation, grief, or relationship challenges, and want a space where they can feel supported while finding better ways to cope.
-
I work from a person-centred and mindfulness-based perspective, which means therapy is guided by your needs, values, and pace. Depending on what feels most helpful for you, I draw from the following evidence-based approaches:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Supports you in accepting difficult thoughts and feelings while taking steps that align with your values.
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Helps you understand different “parts” of yourself and develop a more compassionate, integrated sense of self.
Somatic Psychotherapy: A body-based approach that explores how stress and trauma show up physically, helping you feel calmer and more grounded.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): Strengthens emotional understanding and fosters healthier patterns of connection in relationships.
Together, we’ll tailor these approaches so therapy feels supportive, practical, and truly suited to you.

Message from Jennifer
In our sessions, I’ll show up as my genuine self, using curiosity, warmth, and a collaborative approach to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted. I help clients explore challenges such as anxiety, life transitions, trauma, loss, identity, and relationship difficulties. Together, we can work to develop a deeper understanding of past experiences and how they might be influencing current patterns, behaviours, thoughts, and emotions. I believe that awareness of these patterns is key to finding new ways of being and relating to oneself and others.
My goal is to provide an experience that feels different from everyday interactions - one where you can explore, reflect, and grow in an atmosphere of genuine care and respect. I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you build a stronger relationship with yourself and create a more meaningful life.
Outside of my work, I love spending time with family and friends and my cat, Nova. I enjoy being outdoors whenever possible, whether that’s running, hiking, or camping, and I bring that sense of nature indoors through my growing collection of houseplants.

If you’ve ever felt unsure of who you are, or that you’re living in a way that doesn’t match your true self, ACT therapy can help. Together, we explore the stories you’ve been carrying about identity whether they come from culture, family, or self-criticism and create space for you to reconnect with what truly matters. This process supports building an identity that feels authentic and values-driven, not shaped only by outside expectations.
-
Inner child work helps you reconnect with the younger parts of yourself that may have felt unseen, hurt, or misunderstood. These early experiences often shape the way we respond to stress, relationships, and emotions in adulthood. By giving your inner child compassion and validation in therapy, you can begin to heal old wounds, reduce patterns of self-criticism, and create healthier ways of coping. This process can strengthen your sense of identity, improve self-esteem, and help you feel more grounded and whole in the present.

Each session is a mix of conversation, reflection, and practical tools. Sometimes we focus on what’s happening right now, other times we explore how past experiences are shaping today. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported and with something useful to carry into your week.
-
We’ll look at what keeps those patterns going, whether it’s thoughts, emotions, or past experiences and then explore new ways of responding. Small shifts can create big changes over time, and I’ll guide you at a pace that feels manageable.

It’s common to feel like you’re “wearing a mask” in relationships, work, or family roles. ACT therapy offers tools to step back from rigid self-labels and move toward a more flexible and authentic identity. By clarifying your values, you can make choices that reflect who you are and who you want to become.
-
Everyone’s journey is different. Some people begin to feel relief after just a few sessions, while others need more time to work through deeper patterns or complexity of concerns. I will work with you to set clear goals and check in on progress so you know therapy is moving in the right direction. We ALWAYS measure your success and make sure this relationship is fruitful to you.
-
Yes. Relationship patterns often come from how we connect with ourselves and others in everyday life, not just romantic partners. Therapy can be a safe place to explore these dynamics and find healthier ways of relating.
